Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 C warm water
  • 1/2 C oil
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 C flour

Method
 

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water with 1 teaspoon of sugar, in a large bowl. Allow the yeast to bloom for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Add oil, remaining sugar, eggs, salt and flour; mix well.
  3. Let stand, covered, at room temperature for 8 hours to overnight.
  4. Knead lightly on floured surface.
  5. Cut into 12 equal sized pieces, rolling into balls.
  6. Place in a greased baking pan.
  7. Let rise, covered, in a warm place for 4 to 6 hours or until doubled in size.
  8. Bake at 400℉ for 10 - 12 minutes or until golden brown.
